Thanks a million to Ivan etc. the fuse 11 & 15 removal and re-insertion did the trick for fixing my instrument failure problem (see Instrument Failure 2000-02-22 20:12:55)
I can't believe it and neither can everyone else I tell this story too.
Seeing as mine is out of warranty already, it's saved me a large wedge of dough, even though Audi were willing to chip in to a large extent.
