Hal suggests a warning if the desired cycle times are not being met. To make pdprp runnable by non-root, as root do the following: chown root pdprp chmod 4711 pdprp I set the next time for LBC to be one interval away from when it was done the previous time- this keeps the interval in check, but doesn't try to keep things on the original schedule. Many things would have to change if I changed this concept. It would be nice to have an area with the most recent picture names in it. - perhaps a call-uppable box? Make Filter a pop-up box where user can select all filter params Make camera selection a menu with option to add own name. I thought of this since Mac needs to know which camera it is taking, but it does this by getting the bench code from the PDPRP program - then looking at its settings to get the camera type thus the camera type in the PDPRP program is ignored. Eventually, we should synchronize the two, but for now, it is ok as is -the camera name in PDPRP is just a random string as far as all the software/hardware is concerned although there may be operator confusion if the same camera name is not in PDPRP as it is in the Mac. With fvwm, apparently, when X11 is waiting for you to place a window generated by pdprp.tcl - things stop. I should turn this feature off and make them auto stack or something.... This is solved by commenting out SmartPlacement in .fvwmrc and commenting in RandomPlacement LBA should look to make sure NO other bench has LBA high before thinking everything is ok. For example, if SF is 99ed, all benches but 26C will report LBA ok, even though it is not! I do not open up an infomational box when I stop cycling after receiving an END exiting command. The Mac sends R & L all the time- even after you have stopped the sequence. This is not good....
