Things to do Near Wolfsburg, Germany

About 30 minutes west of Wolfsburg is the township of Gifhorn. They have a castle too. But more interesting is th e windmill-museum: Original windmills from all over the world rebuilt and explained. They have a nice bakery and make excellent bread and cake. (I just can taste and smell the fresh and still warm "Streuselkuchen" - if you haven't eaten one: It is a kind of butter-cake and it is delicious!).
