Telpos
Telpos
Telpos has no user interface except for its Quit button.
It runs in the background getting the
telescope position from the PC Guider and telling it to
HQ. It also handles the
Image loading for
Telcon. It must be started for the PDPRP package
to work properly and Quit at the end of the day when shutting down
observing. This shouldn't happen as long as Telpos is Quit every day, but
sometimes screwy things happen when
more than one instance of Telpos is being run at the same time. (There
should only be one instance of Telpos running at all times.) So, if weird
things are happening, or the computer is slower than normal, do a
ps (or ask your local Unix guru) and see if some left-over
Telpos is still running. If so, kill all of them and restart.
